The poweraid throttle body spacer is said to produce a gain of 12 horsepower and some even say that it will help with fuel economy. It does this by simple providing a better mixture of air and fuel and also giving the manifold more air to breath. The Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer is available for many different applications and is a breeze to install. The unit itself and the spacers used to raise the throttle linkage are all make of aircraft grade aluminum and the spacer itself is anodized red for extra protection. The Spacer is not only cut with a swirl going into the manifold but also has small fins to agitate the air fuel mixture. This Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer is a proven bolt on that has stood up to its promises. This install was conducted on my 1992 Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 H.O. engine. Your install may be different.

First is to remove the bolts that hold everything down. I used a ratchet and a socket for the 3 retaining bolts on the throttle linage and a ratchet and a torx head to remove the bolts on the throttle body itself. While doing this be careful not to drop anything into the throttle body. Once the Throttle body is removed also be careful not to drop anything into the intake. This would not be a good thing. Take the time to remove any casket material that might be on the manifold or the throttle body.

Then simply assemble the gaskets and the Poweraid Throttle body spacer with a casket on the bottom and another between the spacer and the throttle body. The next step is to bolt everything down using the supplied bolts, washers and throttle linkage spacers to bolt it all down. Once more be careful not to drop anything.
