So for starters me and my buddy replaced the clutch in his 1994 Nissan Hard body pick up last weekend, after fighting with the tranny for a few hours to get it re mated we get all the wires and such put back on and go to push the clutch peddle in and it hits the floor. So after hours of messing with it and replacing the secondary we still have had not luck. We bleed the system but when pressure does finally start to build up it over extends the secondary. So does any one have any ideas ? the only thing that we have been able to come up with is that when we looked at parts break down of it there was part called spring retainer withdrawal lever, now here the odd part there was not one in it when we pulled it apart. We are open for any ideas that you all may have

Does it have a slave cylender or a hydrolic throw out bearing? if it has a slave cylender is the throw out arm on the pivot? is there an adjustment for the throw out arm pivot? is the pressure plate the same thickness as the one you removed? were the fingers in the pressure plate the same as the one you removes (ie multi, 4 or 3 finger)?

everything was a match. have had problems with wrong parts before so i tend to check at least a few times before i install them. We have replaced the slave cylinder as for for the arm on the pivot everything seems to work fine on it except for the face that it just seems to build up to much pressure in the slave cylinder and over extend the arm. so i guess we are just going to pull the transmission again and recheck everything. I think the retainer spring that we found in a parts break down might be the problem but the thing that gets me is that fact there was not one on the tranny when we pulled it out. but nothing pushing the #### thing back. If i can remember ill post pics and see what you all think

The retainer spring may have broken and been disintigrated also was there a return spring on the throwout arm near the slave if not it may need one I'm not sure if Nissan's hve them or not but there should be something to keep the throwout bearing off of the pressure plate while driving.
