Nice rig and a smart buy!

I used to wheel an '81 shortbed all over the place, back before I'd even heard of lockers and airing down tires. I loved that truck.

If you're running 35s (you 'yota fellers correct me if I'm wrong) you'd be well-served to start stocking up on axles and related hardware.

"wood"?
I don't understand how this is relevent to the conversation.

Square tube will be fine if you never travel at anything other then a mild crawl.
Cromo's have served me well. I watched someone snap a Dana 44 shaft trying to take the same hill I just climbed with my little Dana 30. With cromo's and 35's you should not have any issues
Useless text that your reading for at least the first time.
