Sweet pics...how about more and a little bit of narrative? Any carnage? Run-ins with the CHP? A little Driver Flambé, perhaps?
we got out of redding around 7 and were on the trail by130-2,ran in to 1 jeep left over from the volunteer work crew from the weekend right before ellis, informed us we would be the only one on the trail in a vehicle.DOT has been moving alot of rock and smoothing parts of the trail to meet california water board findings,so some parts around ellis and inbetween walker are now a bit smoother

.We got into little sluice and ran into 4-5 forest people, they had called in a fire helicopter for a fire that someone hadnt put out in a camp fire, was pretty neat watching him land on the slab to the left of little sluice.after a 1/2 hr or so we got back on the trail, made it to buck by 6 at the latest,we were the only ones there.next day checked over the rigs, vinnies steering knuckle bolts were a bit lose and i had sheared on of my steering box bolts and another was loose ,luckly had a replacement bolt, then off to the springs, cpl hours later we were haveing lunch at the springs.made it back to camp and decided to move camp to closer to getting out.a jeep showed as we were getting out of there,we decided to run the old big sluice on the way out of buck instead of going across the slabs.Vinnies rockers got a bit hammered in there and my passenger exo got pushed into the cab and some pretty good dents in the bed, plus the almost flopping.cpl hours later we got into little sluice to camp,2 toyotas came in and camped on the other side of the box.next morn got packed and going by 8 and into loon by 9 and a nice uneventful drive home.so a little body damage to my bed on both sides and upon inspection 3 of the 4 bolts that hold my tranfer case mount are gone, might of happened when i got turtled on the driveline and crossmember
