Technically this isn't a new feature, but was one that was sitting dormant that I wasn't aware of. It's the support for Gravatars. If you don't know what they are, let me sum them up for you. There are many communities that we belong to all over the web. At each one, they have unique avatars, the picture next to all of your posts/contributions. Well, if those sites support gravatars, then you can create an avatar at gravatar.com and it will automatically get updated on EVERY site that supports them.

So here at TH, if you have a gravatar, you go to your profile and type in your gravatar email in the box for gravatars and the gravatar magically gets set. I started using it this morning and I've found several sites that I visit that make use of gravatar that I didn't even realize because my avatar showed up automagically. Now if I ever want to change it, I change it once at gravatar.com! Pretty sweet :)

After you setup your gravatar, click here and look for the third field where it asks for your gravatar email addy.
