You'll have no problem with the locker, they're a piece of cake. C-clip axles are a little tougher, but still easy enough to do in an afternoon.

"piece of cake" if Storm is helping (which he is) ;-) Locker is in, but the rest of the front end isn't back together yet - as usual (for me) it takes time to repair the broken bolts/stripped threads etc. on a 35 year old machine. The rest of the parts to complete the front end rebuild are supposed to be in this AM - new bearings/seals etc. Also got Longfield birfs and chomoly hub gears. Should finish this AM.

There is no C-clips in the front axle. The hard part is taking the front hubs apart and pull the birfs out. It's time consuming.

So why do you ask anyway?? Anyone else up to a trip this weekend? Need to know if I should be motivated to go get the rigs ready?

Well me and Tina are meeting at my house when we wake up in the morning... :whistling: As of right now we are the only ones going so I have no plans for a meeting time or place...there are a couple of other rigs still in the works so I will let you know...but we could meet at the lower end of powelton rd. which is on the left JUST past the DeSabla reservoir above magalia...I should know more before the day is over...
