The last three months for me personally have been amazing! I've been scraping by as a PC tech for that last couple years, but an opportunity at the same company became available for a web developer. I applied and I landed the job. I also have landed a bunch of freelance work doing the same. So I've been working a lot of hours lately and now that I've been working on websites full time for that last two months, my skills have sharpened tremendously.

I've taken a few minutes today to start moving some of things I've learned over to TH and get the site out of the stall it's been in for some time. I am also planning on getting a new camera soon, so I'd like to ride shotgun with you guys on runs so I can shoot them and gets some new video and photos on the site. Just checkin in! I'm looking forward to a great 2010!

This is kind of redundant, but I thought I'd post up that the website has been migrated over to the new framework as of Friday. Tonight I've started putting the admin panel back together so new write-ups and edits to existing ones are on the way. I've also got my camera, so I'm ready to ride along with you guys if you want to head up to the snow, I'm game!

It's late, good night :)

Thanks for the heads up. That problem only seems to have only occurred with Internet Explorer which I didn't test it with. I found the bug and fixed it. Got it rolling again.

I've spent the last couple of days working on the admin panel where I can create and update writeups. At the moment, I can now edit existing trail write-ups. Next up is the pictures. There is some serious cleanup needed there! There are orphaned pictures all over the place, so once this is taken care of, stay tuned for new content on the homepage! What a concept!

Today, I've added the ability to add new trail write-ups to the database. They can also be marked as published or not. This allows me to take trails down without deleting them. I can also create the trail and save it to upload pictures without it being visible.

I've also been working on the pictures for the trails. I'm changing a few things there so that's going to take a bit more time.

Tonight I put together a maintenance routine that deletes orphaned photos. Every now and then I'd load up a trail or a my4x4 profile and would get a little red X where a picture should be. I found quite a few orphans. I sort of have that feeling you get after you wash your rig after you went mudding.

I've also take a few more steps towards getting the management for pictures working.
