Ok, so I recently bought a bone stock 1986, 2.9L Ranger 4x4. In addition I just picked up a 2inch body lift, and 4 inch suspension. I was wondering if anyone could offer any tips in terms of the install. Just some basic questions i have are which would you do first, suspension or body? Any problems I should anticipate before starting this project? Also I need some tire suggestions, I was thinking something like a cooper S/T or STT, maybe interco SS-M16...

I would just do the suspension but get deaver coils as they will give you the best flex for ttb front and they are pretty easy to install.

Yeah dude its gonna look pretty gnarly, I decided to go brand new with the lift, so i got a 6 inch skyjacker, mickey thomson baja mtz's, and some pretty slick 15 inch black chromed wheels all for about two grand... cant wait for the install, after that cant wait for the trail!!!

lol funny guys, so i got the lift on, with a little gentle pursuasion... haha the scizzor suspension is not easy to deal with. The only thing is my stock leafs are shot and i need new font brake lines that wont be in untill after i leave for Cali, which is tomorrow... so i havent even gotten to drive it yet, which blows, but it looks sweet... should get a picture up soon.
