Ok so after I went to orentation today I came home and worked on the front crossmember/front spring mount and realised I figured wrong for the spring width I had it set up for 2" wide springs instead of 2 1/2" springs so I had to cut the mounts off and fab new ones. so now the front cross member/spring mount is ready to put back in in the morning but first I have to go to town and get another 9/16 drill bit because I broke mine. so I'm shooting for having the front axle in tomorrow and the rear by sunday mid day. I will try to get some pic's up tomorrow night.

IMO as long as they arent going backwards at ride height they are about perfect...that will give the best ride and most flex! Beautifully done!

I see a lot of stock fords with flat front springs like that. They always look like they're mounted too high in the front and too low in the back. Aren't those F150 springs, or was that a different project?

Anyway, it's looking good. Are you planning on trussing the back of the crossmember to the frame rail?

If I had to guess at those springs I would say either s10 rear leaves or dakota? They look to long to be waggy springs?

Yes S-10 rears I was trying to keep it simple I used as many parts as I could from an S10 doner and the rest will be waggy

yes I put gussets behind the crossmember Posted Image
It's coming along nicely I am going back to Truck world today for a couple of small parts and Kragen for shocks. I am still waiting on the rear driveline and flex brake line to get here.

Ok heres an update I have taken the blazer to town for a shake down run and found out that the Alternator went bad. Thanks to Onk and Lori for coming to give me a jump start. so I bought a new Alt and Battery (I knew the battery was bad @ 8 yrs old) I found that the blazer kinda bobbles around a little so I'm going to put a Trac Bar on and see how it is and if need be I will go to truck world in the morning and get a sway bar. I will take some pic's later today and get them posted up.
