Well I 'spose its time to let the cat out of the bag...I/we have been collecting parts for a couple weeks now and on saturday we started pulling and cutting the IFS out of Tinas Blazer...We have got alot of the brackets cut off of the frame at this point and attached the new SFA crossmember...It is going to have a d30 from a yj with ford f-150 leaf springs and stock yj spring under configuration...We are getting some of the little stuff knocked out this week after work and plan on having it driving on the new front axle on late saturday/early sunday...I will work on getting some pics but honestly it is no different than any of the others, other than being spring under...

The idea was to keep it a bit smaller, to keep the 32s on it, and to try something new...My truck is about as low as an s10 could be with a spring over...there are a couple of things I could do to get down another inch but it is a lot more work...I wanted to see what we could do with some different springs with spring under to keep it a little bit lower...there are a couple of issues that we see could come up with clearances but shouldnt be hard to fix if it does become an issue, and if it just wont work out we could always go spring over and say we tried!

rgr that
Yours seems pretty stable on the spring overs. I was just thinking that the springs when under, act like skis and keep your wheels from getting traction, whereas when your on dirt/rocks your other 2 or 3 tires are likely to push you through (witnessed watching fj40Tim at the rubicon). I'm a diehard springover fan! And... a hypocrite, getting ready to do a spring under on the trailer frame I just got, it's too dang high to be hauling a cruiser around on.

I think once she wears out the 32's we will put 33's on it...but the 32's already rub in the front!

Great job TF!
Looks good, Maybe with a "little" fender trimming those 33's would be nice.
Sure wish I had a gear wrench right about now!!

..Update time! I got the front shocks mounted, and after a shakedown run on sunday TINA broke both of the upper mounts off...Got home and redesigned the whole thing, went from 3/16 to 3/8 steel for the mounts! After driving it for a few days I decided it has to much bump steer and is just to much of a handful to be comfortable...so I ordered a jb raised steering bracket which will put the drag link level and eliminate the bumpsteer...Got the rear re-geared to match the front, no problems there...The only issue I was having was a crazy vibration at about 60mph...It seemed like a u-joint or a bent driveline but I just couldnt find anything wrong with either of them...after more investigating we found that the rear output shaft in the t-case was bent (did anyone ever notice Tina is hard on the equipment! She thinks she did it on the memorial run!)...so I had another t-case sitting around so I put it in, no more vibration! But the new one is manual shift and the old one was electric...so I had to go to the junkyard and get a shifter, adapter plate, shift rod, and a console...the install on that required a hole get cut in the floor and installation of some bolt on parts, which all went well except for a quick buzz of the cutoff wheel across my finger and some blood stain removal from the carpet and the house! So at this point I am waiting on the steering bracket, I am having a rear driveline cut down to size and a custom draglink built from a local machine shop, still hunting for a front driveline that will work, and a few other odds and ends...oh and I am waiting on some energy suspension engine and trans mounts...
