They're home made and look it, but I had fun making them. Pic's of the slider/rock rails and skid plate I put on for the Rubicon.
The rock rails are 3/16 - 3" angle, with tube steps (that I bought the tube online - already bent to the right shape/size) and expanded steel mesh. I put the expanded steel on for traction and to slow down (not stop) the splash. I was having too much fun with my wire welder (just learning to weld), so a few of the welds are larger than they need to be. I used what steel I had handy to mount to the frame. I used the stock horn that supporst the body and factory step in the front, and ran 2" angle to the frame in back. The skid plate is 5/16" diamond plate steel, with (sloppy) access holes cut in (with a torch). I bought it off Craig's list but had to do a lot of mods to get it to work/fit etc. The bar you see in front of the skid plate is the rear engine/tranny mount that was on when I bought it - it will go away when I do the sbc conversion.
