It was nice to get out with everone again. Nice to see everyone.
Funny that you ask about updates, because there are a few big things in the works.
I recently picked up a donor truck....89, f350, 4x4, 7.3.... for the awesome price of FREE. The axles for sure are going in the bronco and possibly the engine also.

You know, "Well, I finally got around to painting this thing."
But the one you just unleashed will suffice. Good luck, and I can help if needed.

The diesel swap is out for now, the engine in the truck was pretty shot and was going to need a complete rebuild. Not looking to do that now so I will worry about finding another one down the road.
But the 60, 10.25 swap is in full swing. Will try to get some pics going in the next day or so.

I couldn't pass up the price. LOL The only down side is that it is a dually but I ended up having a truck at work that is going to the junk yard I am stealing the front hubs off of to convert it back to single rear wheel

Yes, I ordered the wedges last night. I have found a few guys that have done it with the stock arms with success and still going strong.

I know, I know how many rear axles can one put under a bronco? Well I was going to go with the 10.25 for now until I found a better replacement, well I ran across what I believe to be a 14 bolt and dana 70, ran down and looks to be what they are so I picked them up for $200. Thought it was a fair price!

The 70 doess for sure, not sure about the 14 bolt, the 14 bolt also had a little rust inside from sitting, it may require new gears anyways

Here is a few shot of the 14 bolt getting tore down, I have decided to go 4.88 i think, detroit and to bite the bullet and do the disc swap also since the brakes are shot to H***.

The gears are pretty rusted up from sitting but because I plan to do the gear swap anyways, that won't be a problem.

Then the wedges ground down to fit around the housing. I read a lot about the best way to do this. SOme guys said they would remove about 1 inch of the housing to expose more of the tube.....Seemed like a bad idea to me. So instead I figured out that the arms ould clear the housing anyways so why not just shave the wedges to fit around the housing, should be a lot stronger that way.

And then with the arms bolted on. NOTE the half inch gap between the arms, that is the way it works with the arms on a 60, i still have to make a spacer plate to fit in there. Right now there is a nut that is half inch tall to space it.
