looking at lift ing my 97 expo. it is a frist gen so it sets 4" high then the newer ones I have been lookinh in to just adjusting the torsion bars they say I can get 2.5" of lift and I was going to space the coils 3" in the rear. was wonder what size tires I could run on it.

i have a 97 f150 that i did the torsion lift on. it gave me 3" in the front and 2" in the rear which leveled it. the rear lift was achieved by installing shorter shackles but i have leaf springs on the rear. i have 295 75r16 nitto terra grapplers

do you plan on changing out the keys completely or just adjusting the stock ones?

not to shure from what i have read changing the keys give me a 3" in lift of using me stock one is a 2.5" lift but a much stiffer ride. when you did the keys on the f150 did it stiff'n the ride a lot or just a bit..

it did stiffen my ride a little but its not too bad. either way, you will probably want to either extend your shocks, or buy longer ones.
