I use "The GIMP" because I'm a Mac OS X and Linux fan. I don't think there's a Windows version.

On Mac OS X you can also use the Preview application to do simple resizes and change from tiff to jpeg, etc.

Windows has the Photo Editor app, and on Vista I think you can use Paint(?) for jpegs.

However, the easiest way is to use one of the online photo editors. I did a Google search using "free online photo editor" as the search term and came up with lots of hits.

If you're using a service like Photobucket (highly recommended - post a pic there and use the "Insert image" button here to link to the Photobucket pic) they often have their own online photo editor.

When I post a pic online I use 640x480 as my basic size, depending on the size and shape of the photo, at 72dpi.

Hope this helps!

Sweet! The problem with bustin' your hump to get a project done so quickly is that there's no money left over for 'wheelin'.

Rock on!
