My son's friend just did a tune up on her Cherokee; plugs, filters, etc. Anyway, when they were done it idled fine, but would bog under acceleration. The problem was that with the new air cleaner it was getting too much air. She had to disconnect the neg battery cable to reset the computer.
Have you made any similar changes? If not, maybe one of your sensors is defective or disconnected, or a vaccum line is broken.
I had a Nissan (car) once with an acceleration/shifting (AT) problem. Three mechanics, including a Nissan specialist couldn't figure out the problem, but they were all sure a rebuilt tranny would fix it

. Finally at a different tranny shop, after two days of troubleshooting, they found a tear in the intake air hose that was only visible when the accelerator was pushed. $9.00 fix. (About 15 years ago). Probably a couple hundred now! 8|
Check all your electrical connections, air hoses and vaccum lines. If none of that works you may have to get someone to read the trouble codes stored in the computer.
