So is there a reason you went 5 inches back? 3 inches back seems to center the axle in the wheel well.

Nice find. I would rather have the selectable locker in the rear to drive on the road and if I'm trying to save money put the full time one like an Aussi in the front.

really? dang, I'd rather have the selectable for steering up front so I wouldn't have to make those 5 point turns all the time. Except the one time I snapped a pinion trying to beat the traffic onto Antelope Blvd I don't notice the locker in the back on the road (lesson learned, Landcruiser locked up with 37x14.5's is not a hot rod).

I have 3 cruiser's, 2 with selectable lockers and 1 with Aussie's. I would rather drive the selectables on the hard dry pavement. With twin transfer case shifters you can always pull a lever inside the cab and disengage the front drive.

I thought it looked like your airline was in a different spot on the diff, but I guess it is not...I just thought it looked kind of funny. Take a look at this pick, this guy has a valve on his differential...Attached Image: monthly_11_2008/post-311-1226464034.jpg
