should I wheel the Ifs or sell it while it is still shinny?

Congrats on the new rig
I would wheel it then when you can do a solid axle swap I have seen the ifs on the trail they have a little more difficulty on some things but still do well
(Caution) I have an 05 wrangler and I'm not afraid to use it

my buddy installed the lift 2 years ago, we went to test it out, and I guess a couple days later he went out and tried to start it and it wouldn't start........... there it sat for two years, untill i bought it yesterday.

I did some digging into it and I think it is just the starter. So tomorrow it is starter, oil change, drain the tank, fuel filter, spark plugs.
I hate to say it but the body lift really helps (in my driveway)

I have an 82 (minus body) sitting in my garage acting as a very large shelf.

nice score!

side note- how do ya like the HF tire changer? I have done mine by hand, and was thinking about buying one, but have heard mixed results on it... any honest opinion for a fellow trailhunter?

it works good, there is a definitely a learning curve involved with the mounting, especially larger tires. I don 't know how big of a tire you can do but I mounted a pair of 33's in about 45 minutes (that was with figuring out how it works). To do larger tires it really need to be mounted to concrete. I plan on trying the air soft pellet balancing.
here is a good discussion http://www.naxja.org...ead.php?t=98124

I got the runner fired up today, all I did was smack the starter with a wrench!

Run it with the ifs till you got all your ducks in a row with the sas project.
