It's been a while since I've posted so I thought I'd let you guys know I have a new 4x4. I'm getting married in May and my fiance has two boys of her own, so I needed something that can haul at least seven. We decided to go big and bought a '97 Suburban. It's got 4 wheel drive and the bigger 454. So when the day comes, I'll be able to tow my trailer queen in style. The 454 makes 290 hsp/ 410 ft-lbs tq. Its really nece having ample room for everyone. Gas mileage will be a huge adjustment. I'm not expecting better than 13 and it has a 42 gallon tank. $135 per tank baby!

The tires on it should work fine for a tow rig. I don't think that thing will ever get off the main road. Beside it's an anchor and you can put all the meaty tires on it and it will still be an anchor.

yeah, this will not see any serious action. I got a 4x4 so I can drive on snowy roads. It has already been put to the test there. It will happily tow my real wheeler there when I get back in to it.

Nice looking rig, so you didn't get rid of your Jeep, awesome :headbanger: .

When do you think you will be getting back into it?

It would be nice to see some founding members back out on a trail run  ,

Congrats on the upcoming marrage, does she enjoy 4bying or has she ever been?

See you on the trail some time  .
