A couple of weeks ago I competed in the 2007 Northland winch Challenge. It was my first winch challenge and I had a blast. Truck was only just together (still in primer in some places, half finieshed bars etc) but she went great. Completed the first day with no problems. Had a bit of a problem on day 2 with a damaged oil sump which meant we had to pull out. And lost my brakes (just crappy brakes), as well as a broken front leaf spring. Also killed a front guard

The truck is now in full build mode, with major upgrades comming to the winch (ie pneumatic freespool) along with a new tray rollcage, bullbar, lights brakes etc.

If it works don't fix it...If it breaks upgrade it!
