Well I attempted to make a tube door yesterday....I still need to trim off the old junk on the bottem tube, and grind down the door brackets to look cleaner, and throw in nice bolts, i just used these small ones to test fit them. If these look familiar, I remeber hearing guys on fullsizebronco.com using spare tire racks for tube doors. Since i got this one for 6$, i wasnt afraid to chop it up! just gotta run out to the jy and grab another one now and bend/weld to brackets for the other side.

Yea they arent too great, but keep in mind it's my second project, my rear bumper being first. I still gotta weld on the "latch" of sorts.. I think ill just use a sort of hitch pin to hold the door closed and glue on some rubber from work so it won't rattle.

well...even tho it looked ok, there was rust UNDER the ####ty bondo job. I debated just filling it or just leaving it, but i know it will eventually rust thru and get worse. i just took all the rust off and sprayed gloss black over it all so it wouldnt rust. I will prob spray it with my gun and compressor later, but I ididnt want to have to fix a busted thru panel later because I just let it rust. So yes it looks like #### toyoder, but at least it won't rust anymore, so #### it.
