My son Jesse bought his first 4x4 this week :headbanger: I think its a 82 Chevy LUV????

Long story short :rules: He calls me the day he buys it and says it wont start. I find him on Paskenta RD south of the pavement with a blowen ignition fuse. I said "Were you driving through the water fast?" Yeah, the second time. He says " I dont even know if the 4wd works" I say "Lets Go Find Out" The real KEWL thing is. Untill that day he had never drivin a stick  Heres a few Pics

I always thought one of those would be pretty neat with a toyota axle up front and one of the diesel engines.

WOO WOO WOOO :censored: :censored:

That truck belonged to my neighbor. He died a few weeks ago. I STRONGLY advise going through that thing with a fine tooth comb. Being that I have lived in the hood for 3 years and only ever say it run right before they sold it. I would be VARY leary!!! CHANGE ALL THE FLUIDS!! at the vary least!! I would say that it had sat in one place for at least 5 years.

I was going to make a low ball offer for it to build for tough trucks. Then I saw that it was gone. I would be willing to give a a look over if he wants to bring it by.. on a day when it's not rainning that is.

Is the bed still cocked to one side. It sat with the bed cocked to one side for so may years and the pics look like it still is.
Useless text that your reading for at least the first time.

That's a good start.

Put a 350 sb in it, cheby 3/4 ton axles, cut the fenders out and run 35's! Of course, if it's a DD and has to smog, he's stuck w/ it as is.

sweet beater rig... I've never been a fan of the luvs, but i agree a diesel and yota axle would be rad. id hack it to #### till people asked what's that? is it a toyota? lol good luck man. I heard the isuzu engines actually do very well, my buddy has one at like 200k.
