my friend and i r building a 4runner we moved the front axle forword about 3in. it looks like the drag link and the tie rod r going to hit when the suspension flexes. it has a drop pitman arm on it. will the flat pitman arm help on this?

I'm not entirely up to speed on Toys, but this is a common problem on Scout lifts also. Z style drag links, hysteer, and flip-serts are all popular fixes.

I'm not an expert on 4runners but it's best to keep that drag link as level as possable.

this is a common problem the best fix is to move your box more forward its not hard :- to do make sure to sleave the frame or it will not hold up :dead:
to many projects and not enough time or To much time and not enough money.

this sounds oddly familiar.

i decided to sleeve my frame, and build a new mount about 2.5-3" forward from stock, this is a CJ-7, but the solution should be the same.

there are lots of otherways to get around that problem ,flat pitman arm, 2 wheel drive pitman arm and then theres the right way by just moving the box forward
to many projects and not enough time or To much time and not enough money.
