My First Trip

I learnt a lot about driving the jeep, gears, noises, over-heating - all the normal things I read on the various forums. On the down-side I lost the front registration plate off the bumper, and got a hole in the side wall of what was probably the best tyre on the jeep. They are all due to be replaced in the next month anyway, but.....
So here are some photos, hope you enjoy the NZ scenery.

Thanks for sharing.
NZ is on my list of places I gotta go before I kick the bucket.

Luckily it came like that - actually Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep have an assembly plant in Austria which turns out RHD vehicles for various countries around the world. It does mean sourcing parts from the US is not always easy. Even the radiator is different between a LHD, and a RHD vehicle.

I am not sure, there are lots of web sites which will give you a quote.
If you ever do decide to bring your vehicle over let me know and I will make sure it is full of parts for my jeep, maybe we could then split some of the cost

I know what you mean, I have a 17 year old and a 19 year old as well. Both still at home, both costing Mum & Dad heaps to maintain. But I decided it was time to spend a bit on me and my hobbies. So the Jeep was purchased, and now the modifications start.
If you or anybody else reading this post wants to come to NZ on holiday you will always be most welcome. Plenty of beds in the house, the door is always open. Actually you would be cheaper to leave your vehicle behind and just ride with people here. There are enough clubs around that somebody will know somebody who is going for a ride with a spare seat.
