My bother-in-law is a Glen County Sheriff and in his 25 years he said he has never wrote a ticket for a rear bumper being gone and cant remember anyone he know doing, BUT he also did say that it is in the code that it must have one unless the truck or car came that way, but you know that now, I have no rear bumper on my 4 runner, but I have been wanting to get one made, looks like I need to get on it! LOL

OK, what is a housecar?
Wow. If my rig's not considered a "passenger vehicle" (it's a truck!), even with its GVWR of 8000lbs it's still 2" too high.

So you could have put to little rubber tabs back there and called it good right? My Dad's first 4runner was set up taht way and he was going to be wrote up for it and told the cop otherwise.
