I still have the same 40, but I dropped it off at a Land Cruiser specialist in Sonoma on Christmas Eve for a major overhaul.

Here's the list of modifications:

4.0 Orion (finally, supposed to happen back in June, long story...).
30 spline Longfields.
Polyperformance chromo rear axle.
4.88's.
4x4 Labs Hysteer.
New front springs.
FJ60 rear springs.
Re-position spring hangers to stretch wheelbase.
New rear driveline.
Larger nuckles.
New hubs.
Front and rear diff armor.
37 - 39.5" tires (haven't decided yet).

It'll probably take a couple of months. I can't wait to get it back. (w00t)

(Except for the bill :read: :'( )

Sounds awesome. Same question as rwilley. I would think that would take no more than a couple weeks.

I vote for the bigger tires.

You might want to ask Storm, he has 37s. But I think to go any bigger you would have to have Jer trim on your rig. :'(

The two month estimate was just me being pessimistic. I've had some bad luck recently with having work done on the cruiser. It may only take two weeks.

$100 for eight little studs might save hours trying to leave the trail.

Sounds like some good mods I just wish I had the money to buy some part's I still need gears and lockers before I start my next mods. Oh well I have a little bit of steel for my bumpers so maybe I'll fab those up after I get some 3/8 plate
(Caution) I have an 05 wrangler and I'm not afraid to use it
