We went out in search of the Big Level's Jeep Trail- only to find it was gated at this time of year. We drove on backroads for about a half hour and got to the Shoe Creek Jeep trail, which i did with a friend a few weeks ago. The last time, I played on some of the smaller obsticles, but hardly even noticed some of the big ones.
The first obsticle we did, was going up a super steep bank, around a tree stump, along a short ridge, and back down the embankment- The XJ did it.. just about rolled over at the top.. and nobody else wanted to try.. so, I figured "hell with it," and decided to give it a shot. I gave it a lot of momentum, and made it to the top.. only I half slid sideways and hit my rocker pannel on the tree trunk/rock and got some trail scars on my driver's side rocker. Everyone was impressed that a stock rig made it up the hill.. and someone shouted "if the the stocker goes- then everyone goes!" Luckily since the ZJ is white, you really can hardly see the damage unless you look closely.
The rest of the day I didn't do anything else very hard. The trail itself was a bit of a chalange for me and one of the other TJs since we weren't discoed.. a lot of tire spinning and teetering on three wheels. So I did a lot of standing and watching the other rigs (mostly the XJ and the other ZJ) as they did some of the bigger stuff, that my ZJ flat out wouldn't do.
I'll shut up and show you the pics.
