I just added a new monster to the collection.

I can't wait to get her home and start the restoration (needs very little work for its age)

As I am a die hard Mopar fan this one kind of strikes my fancy. I had a '70 4dr power wagon for 18years before I sold it to a friend who is now using it on his ranch.

That reminds me of the wagon Tracey built on Trucks. They put a 600 horse naturally aspirated fully aluminum motor in it with rockwells and full hydro steering front and back. That think was awesome!

Are you looking for a stock restoration or will you be putting some more modern parts on it? I would love to restore old trucks like that in my free time.
I drive an 87' XJ.

Josh
Thanks, I will let you know what will be needed once I get a good look at it.

Eric
I am looking to do a full on restoration back to its original state. The Pinz is my modified vehicle, one is enough of those. I really like the dodge but still have to get a Deuce and a half or five ton one of these days.

My 15 yr old son and I are planning on this as a project the two of us can do together. Hopefully by the time he gets old enough to drive it will be complete and he can do parades and static displays with me.

I will definately be keeping documentation on this project. The hope is that we can build it up to a useable condition and still be able to take it to parades and such. I am not a real big fix it up and just show it kind of guy. If you don't use it offroad I don't see much need to put so much work into it. We will not be doing radical offroad trails but still want it out there.
