Hey, I am going back to Uwharrie on the last weekend of September(30th, and the 1st) for another trail run. The party is two jeeps, and three people strong. Anyone else who wants to go, let me know so I can save a spot for your tent.

Hey Tom.. thats the 30th of Septhember? I'm intrested in going there sometime.. I've been wanting to for a while, but I'm not sure my ZJ (still pretty much stock except for skids) or me will be ready just yet. I'll deff be looking to go sometime this winter though, after a small lift and sliders. But I'll let ya know in a couple of weeks if it September looks possible for me.

Sounds good. You are right to think that you would be limited with your current setup. You would still be able to get out and have fun with most of the trails, and there are bypasses for most of the difficult portions of the trails. Uwharrie only has 17 miles -_- of trails, so it isnt far to get help if something happens. Last weekend of September. The 30th, and the 1st.

Hey! Big news! There will be a big club ride at Uwharrie on the last weekend of the month... something like 20 jeeps will be there :zj:  . Muddy Rocks Offroad Club North Carolina(www.MROCNC.com) will be going up there along with some jeeps from Virginia beach KMA Offroad (www.kmaoffroad.com). This weekend there will be a small group of Jeeps from KMA coming out to wheel. It should be a good time for anybody who makes it. The last time that MROC went there, they had a group member drive his H1 :headbanger: . You are guaranteed to see all types with MROC. A note for anyone who plans to ride with KMA... you are going to need a CB radio. Mandatory equipment. :rules: Now, as far as anybody who thinks that they cant have some fun with a milder vehicle(read: not much lift, smaller tires...) FORGET ABOUT THAT! Come on out and show us what ya' got! Uwharrie has some challenges for the bigger rigs, and suitable terrain for smaller vehicles.

ONLY 17 miles. I think last weekend at high lakes we were only in a few miles from where we had to rwilleys cruiser out from where it broke, and that was far enough for me. What a long night
