Well I have been saving for my sas but decide to wait another year until its paid off so i spent some money on these http://www.4x4rockshop.com/scripts/prodVie...?idproduct=1952 I don't like dragging my belly over stuff so I thought these would help.. And I will be getting street legal headers for it also ......

Also I have a ? a guy the other day told me when you get a snorkel it makes your mpg go down a bit... Is this true? He was saying he got 11mpg b4 and after he was gettin like 8...

Those sound like old CJ mpg's, not Xterra's.

Yea but is that true with snorkle ur mpg drop no those where from a bronco the mpg he told me....

I'm no expert, but everything I've read and seen seems to hint at getting a little extra power with a snorkle. To me, that would hint at getting better mileage as well.

It all depends on how well the snorkel flows, bad flow less power = less economy.

Good or better flow + cooler air more power=better economy to some extent....
