I am going to meet up with the local Durango club this weekend and go to the Rolls OHV area just north of Saguaro Lake, Arizona. We will be meeting at the Denny's at the corner of Shea Blvd and HWY89 at 7:30a if anyone is interested. Believe it or not I do take the Durango out once and a while. I would prefer to take the Pinz but the Dodge needs some exercise to.

This will be interesting as I have not used the Durango as a play rig in some time. I do have a 3" suspension lift on it and 32X11.50 tires on it. I am looking to put some Mickey Thompson Baja Claws on it. I wanted to see what the other Durango owners were using and how well they performed before I made my final decission. I will definately have to take some pics. I don't think I have any pics of the Durango on a trail. I have some at deer camps and such but those are just dirt roads with minor wash outs. Should be fun.

Here is a pic of my Durango

Here is a link to the Photobucket Album of the pics I took from the trip. I will get some more from the other Durango owners and post when they come in.

I drive the Chili Pepper Red one and had 6 passengers but none would get out and take pics of me doing the obstacles. I was trail leader so only a few pics of my truck on the obstacles but since the trucks are the same not much difference. There are a few of mine doing some that the others chose not to do and hopefully I will get them soon.

What a different world wheeling in a traditional vehicle.

Bill ( the blue one) is from the Bay area in CA. He has just about every toy you can put on the truck. His alarm system will take pictures of the intruder and email him. He has the ARB lockers, K & N filter system, a custom front bumper with warn winch, 7" LCD screen and onboard navigation system, custom dash and gauges, ...... you get the idea. He would not tell me how much he had tied up in the truck though.

The R/T Durango's look cool stock and even better if fixed up correctly.

I ordered the Dodge in Jan 98 and have had it since Mar 98. It has been a good utility vehicle and even towed the pinz for a year until I bought my F350 crew cab diesel 4X4. Now the Durango is just for fun and for scouting hunting trips.
