I'm still having problems with my idle. The super low idle when I start it ins't a big deal but the fact that when its warm it is at 1500 rpm's. This of course way higher than I'd like it to be. Messing with the idle screw I can get it to go up but not down. It's really starting to get anoying wasting gas at stop lights cause it's idleing so high. HELP PLEASE! :'(

sounds like a vacuum leak or timing problem

I don't think it's the timing beause it runs great while driving and it idles smooth just really high. How would it be a vacuum leak? To me it seems like it is still running on high idle which doesn't make sense either because its warmed up. Is there anyway I might have put a vacuum line on wrong so the high idle is on when it's warm?

take a can of carb cleaner and spray it around the base of yer carb, if your idle changes bigtime then your leaking between the carb/manifold that's yer idle problem. Do the same around yer vacuum lines, if you don't have a good fit it'll show up by yer idle changing when sprayed.

If no vac leaks , check your float level.....
