Most of you know i am going to use my truck in winch comps. thus i am going to chop the back and turn it into a tray back.(alluminium tray)

here is the proposed look, the guards have been drawn with a 1" guard chop but the tires are the 33's i have on now. should be plenty of room for 35's-36's

what do you think?

Nice. I approve of the paper-and-pencil brainstorming!! Maybe think about trying to get that 100+pound spare as low as you can?

...and if possible put some kind of fender on. Last year I covered my own windshield with mud leeches from the rear wheels! Up and over the cab...Whoa. I think I just figured out why all the mud trucks have those giant visors over the windshields...where's that little icon that means "dunce"? :P

yea i was thinking about the spare, i was going to mount it on the deck, but there isnt enough room, i will probably mount it on the same angle just lower down on the bars.

I completly forgot about fenders! i shall draw some on now then post a pic.

No its all one piece, I will have to get the angle grinder out when i do get around to chopping it.
I will eventually flip the rear springs around so that i have a longer wheelbase but it is quite an involved job (new fuel tank, driveshaft etc)

At the moment, although i have the materials here i dont have the other resources. and there are things higher on the priority list.
But dont worry, it will get the chop :headbanger:

dont worry, it wont be given away, I have too many parts and money invested. I have 3 sets of axles (2 set of MQ axles for now and im also building some GQ axles), hydraulic bumpstops, gq transfercase new 120 litre ally fuel tank. Im still looking for a good tb42 (4.2l injected petrol nissan engine) which I am going to turbo and intercool and a 5speed gq gearbox (which is easy to find)
