Sydney Jeep Club, along with the Suzuki 4WD Club and the 4WD Club of NSW have entered a lease agreement with a property owner up in the Glouster Tops region of NSW. We just got back from our first weekend up their camping and just checking the place out. We've got access to approx. 7,500 acres all up with a lot of established tracks and the owner will work with us to develop new tracks. Great place with eagles flying overhead, 'roos and wallabies feeding at dusk and brush turkeys on the trails. Great place to get out of the hustle of suburbia!!!!

A few pics with the ol' Grand, an XJ and a new Toyo Hilux thrown in can be found at...

Sweet bar on the front of that Grand. Nice design. Keeps the 'roos out of the grille. :P

Also, are those ruts so deep from people trying them during the rainy season? I see all those vehicles are set up for deep water...

A herd of 'roos are worse than deer..And a big red 'roo will top 300 pounds...Sacrifice the bar then! :D Plus I keep hitting rocks with mine due to the restricted approach angle.
Snorkels are the norm here. To get into this property we crossed the same creek something like 9 times. Gotta get a custom one for the Grand before too long!!

BZ: A lot of people also have snorkels to keep the dust out of the engine, espically people in QLD. the amount of dust that they have on the road is scary in some places.
