i want to put 33's on my 87 bronco II. How much do you think i should lift it for them to fit properly?

i was thinking about putting on the rough country 4in suspension lift, but i dont know if it is enough to fit 33's

have you read Jeepnee's tech on the rough country 4 inch? here's a link http://www.4x4trailh...ticle.php?id=10

I would go with more than 4" if you're looking to run 33s. But I would PM My Jeepnee and ask him.

Go to rough country's web site and see if they have a write up if not then contact them and they should be able to tell you one way or the other.

I went from 3:73 to 4:56 in my Explorer but I don't think it had as low a low as a B2.It really depends on what you want real low go low but it will effect your highway cruising speed.I picked up about 400 rpm at 70 in overdrive, But i think 4:11 would have been fine and kept it just about equal to what it was stock. The big advantage for me is in low range I went from 18 to 1 too 24 to 1 crawl ratio. I like that and I really don't take any real long trips with it.It's my dd but my commute to work and back is 3.6 miles hope this helps :D

Check out www.jamesduff.com for a lift he specializes in EB ,B2 and Ranger take a look at Superlift .com also

If it works don't fix it...If it breaks upgrade it!

I know of a guy that has 33's under a 6" lift and he doesn't rub it looks good and the fit is perfect.
My rig 87 Ranger (the bucket)

Purchased for $100 (we can leave it at that!)

Check out my poor mans Pullpal (it's in Prairie City pics and it worked)

I am running a 4" lft with 35" tires. I have 4.56 gears and wish I had 5.13's for off roading. The 4.56's are fine on the highway. I have no rubbing issues but I have trimmed my fenders a bit. Here is a link to my cardomain site so you can see the truck flexed out with no rubbing. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/845149
