That particular link is from a search I did for 'best clutch' from the Techboard (forum) part of the site. I am still using a stock clutch in my Turbocoupe with good results, but I don't drag race it and quit doing clutch dumps after the first set of spider gears shattered... BTW all the ford SVO's and Turbocoups that they talk about on that forum came with a T-5 tranny. Hope you have a T-5

I have built many Ford powered road race cars using both Nitrous Oxide and superchargers and through experience, I only use Ford Motorsport clutches. They have never let me down.
Slightly off topic but...
T5's suck... I have the internal shattered parts to prove it
Ford's AOD is not worthy of the aluminum that they cast it from. My wife can tell you a story about these.
FYI, I have a Nitrous filling station as well as several spare bottles if anyone feels the need. (w00t)

You've mentioned this car several times and you always refer to it as if you still own it. Being that as it may, where is it? I kind of have a thing for Cobra's, even race cars that are made to look like one.
An old high school friend of mine now works for a car magazine publishing company, bukaroo communications, and they always have nice cars around. In fact the owner of the place has many of his own that he has gotten to drive or ride in. His boss had a 600 Hp Cobra ( a real one ) and he said that was the only time he's been afraid for his life. Those cars just don't weigh anything at all so they fly. This is coming from someone who's gotten to drive the new Viper at 150 on an oval track, ride shotgun in the racing version of the Viper even faster and riding shotgun in a baja truck hitting 20 foot high jumps and get paid for doing it. Anyway, I have much respect for that little sports car that you're hiding somewhere

Use other brands and you may get self imposed lesson on changing clutches.
:offtopic:
I still have my Cobra. It is a track car that was street licensed as opposed to street legal - they are two different things. Times have changed though. Running a vehicle like it down the street now, is just asking for trouble. Running on a track during a club day was always fun, but rolling down the street was always a million times more fun. You dont have power unless you can smoke racing meats going down the freeway. (w00t) Due to the dirt roads where I live and the rotten paved roads in this county (not to mention the local LE's take on irresponsible drivers), the car resides in a climate controlled garage in Nevada.
