My lil bro craked his block in his D50 its a 2.6 liter. Is there any other motor that will swap in there without much chnaging craparound.Pretty much bolting right up to the tranny?

Any Mitsu 2200, 2400 or 2600 should fit. They all share the same block.
Conquest's also used the same block, as did Mazda PU's from 86-91.

I'd check out Rising Sun in Chico.
