We went to Crown King AZ via the backroad. This is a very popular trail in Az and can be extremely challenging depending on the weather. Some of the first pics in are on our website www.swpinzgauer.org uner trail rides/crown king. We did have one of our trucks lay down on an obstacle but it took minimal damage and no one was hurt (except pride). We were lucky enough to have 4 Unimogs join the 8 Pinz trucks. The little convoy made for quite a show for the other offroaders.

I submitted a trail report but I am not sure if it went through correctly. Let me know if you received it when you get a chance.

Hope all had a happy Thanksgiving!!!

I just checked and I didn't get the write-up and I took a look at that script and it had a bug which prevented the writeup from getting sent to me. It is working now.

Those pics were cool. I like that you guys have mixed two hobbies together with the rifles. I haven't shot any targets in a long time. Sounds like fun!

I will send a write up again.

The rifle on the table and the one on the blanket are both .50 cal.'s. It was the first time my daughter had a chance to shoot a .50cal. One of the reasons she went on the trip was because she got to shoot my AK again. My pics have not yet been posted but I am assuming our webmaster will have a chance this weekend.

The real sad part about the trip is that we did not get any photos on the real fun obstacles. Everybody was having fun getting through them or is some cases going around. Some of the waterfalls are a little much for the 4X drivers.

We usually start at Castle Hot Springs about 20 miiles north of Phoenix and go to Crown King on the backroad. You can head out to interstate 17 on a well maintained dirt road approx 24 miles and then down to Phoenix. It makes for a long day to do the loop so we prefer to just hang out and camp so we can spend more time playing on the obstacles. Some of our group (Mog guys) stayed in some cabins (available for rent) in Crown King. The night temps were 28 and the day were 74. Made for some nice camping and wheeling weather.
