I'm getting ready to order very soon(hoping for snow run Viola to Mineral Mwilleylol) the lift for my 96 Exp.have a few questions I'd like to throw out there.Much thanks to Onk,Willeys and Shawn for the input on the speed differential and shifting rpm's I think I am going to just get it so there won't be a shipping charge later(do it right the first time hopefully right lol) I will be putting a Superlift 4 inch on it.(don't laugh I know it's a Exp.) But you don't see to many around here with lifts, just looking for clearance and I think that will do it.The Exp. has been good to me and just turned 100.000 miles no problems,no leaks and a new transmission.Scratches by Colyear and dent by peligreen and again by High Lake ok nuff history, decided to keep the thing. It's IFS front 8.8 rearend with 31 spline axles(stock) disc all four yada yada lota room and comfy.

I want to put 33's on it but it has 3.73 gears I know it will probably bogg on hills a bit but offroad low range should be fine and when the 33's get put on will it be possible to change ratios in the front ?,this is all new to me (IFS) I know the rearend gears can be switched but the front? Will running 33's compared to say 32's make much difference?

That's about it my biggest concern is power but who gives a you know what about street and highway as long as it rolls.

Then Rubicon thanks for any input today is my Fri. and I've had a little wine so I hope this post is tiiiped lol

going from 32 to 33 shouldn't make that much of a diff but low lock might not be as low and if u use it to pull ur tranny might slip a lil and run a lil warmer

Check out this tread, it has a link to this business and this is what they carry for your Dana35 IFS:

I bet most Ring and Pinion shops carry these too.

I hope this helps.

Well I know of a nice place where you could lift that thing. Hopefully could get it done by the first of the year, for the first Viola to Mineral Run....

Thanks you been pretty busy there with lifts, here is the link to what I'm going to order as soon as a payment clears :D it's the cheapest I could find.(free shipping)if anyone has another place to get it from I will check it out.Found an outfit on Pirate4x4 down in the bay area that was cheaper but tax and shipping made it more

Looks like I will have it installed with the new 33's by the 1st :headbanger: Hav'nt decided on which tire yet, going to look at Schwab soon.I am thinking 10.50x33x15 wide enough to float yet not as much drag pushing them as a 12.
