Well I ordered my Superior Rotating Drop Shackles today.

http://www.superiore...au/shackles.htm

I got a pair for the front and rear so my flex should be pretty impressive once I put even longer brake lines on (have already put longer ones on, but these will be too short for these shackles) and longer shocks on. The shackles also give about 1" lift in the rear and maybe 1" in the front depending.

I've been told they can take up to 4 weeks until I get them but that is only if they have to be made, so I a, hoping they are in stock.

I will take some before and after pictures of the shackles and will post some pictures when I get the fork lift to flex me out (with no shocks on so I can measure the new correct shock length)

They are the only company that make them for my truck. these are also the original manufacturers (have been doing it far longer than anyone else) it has cost me $1198NZ for the 4 shackles, bushes and rear mounts. so they better be as good as everyone says!

I like the engineering in those shackles - I'd bet money you will see a huge difference in your wheeling ability. FLEX is COOL (w00t)

I'd be interested in some before and after pics in the same spot.

I'll try and get some before and after shots but they might not be in the same place for a while as i have to remove my shocks to get measurements and then it wont be untill Janurary next year that i get my shocks. but i will take measurements of the amount of flex i am getting and compare it to what i have now.

Well i just found out that the shackles are going to give me 1.75" of lift!!! i wasnt expecting that much, but lift is lift and it all helps toward getting 35's or 36's on. because it gives so much lift i am planning on 36's now. but not untill these tires run out.

I finally looked at the web site this morning. I especially like how the shackles eliminate the spring twist you get with regular shackles.

Since I don't hace a shackle reversal, I wonder how those would do on the front of mine? 8|

Waiting for your pictures...

Ok some more problems with them. i ordered 2 pairs of shackes (4 shackles), a set for the front that shoudl fit with no mods i was told, and a set for the back that required new shackles mounts (shackle mounts came with them)

i recieved, 4 shackles (good), and 4 new shackles mounts (was only expecting 2)

so, tried fitting the front shackles. it didnt fit due to standard mount being too small so i now have to get new shackles mounts welded on all 4 corners. at least i have all of the shackle mounts.

the other thing is that my standard shocks are 4 inches too short, even without the shackles!!! so i think i am going to strugle to even get the shocks reattached witht the shackles fitted. so that i can atleast drive it on the road.

sorry this makes no sense due to my crappy writing today

here is a pic, if you would like more detailed pics, please just ask, i will post some more up.
