Here's your chance to get your favorite local trail featured here at 4x4trailhunters. If we post your writeup we'll even kick down with a free 4X4Trailhunters sticker for your efforts.

Here are some tips for getting your trail runs posted:

1)A well written description of the type of terrain is a must, like mud, rocks, water crossings, hills, play areas and side hills. Try to include information about camping, nearest town, seasons for use and other attractions to see.

2)There must be photos. To send them to me, please compress them into a single Zip archive and send that single file using the form below.

3)Detailed directions of the route and how to find the trail head. This is necessary so I can make an accurate map and so people can find it easily.

4)I need all of the specifics found on the write-ups. Anything you do not supply, I can try to lookup so the more information you include the better. (ie Zip code, trail difficulty, county, length, etc.)

Just follow this link and submit your trails now

After you get pics the best way to do it is to send the pics along to Eric. Also do the write up in word so it is easy for him to #### with. He tends to get stuff up fast and does a great job of it at that!!!

Another convenient way is to use this page.

To send the photos, just compress them all in to a Zip file and there's a place to attach it at the bottom of this page. Using this page lists all the info that I need. The more the easier it is for me. I can figure a lot of it out like elevation, zip from my map software.

I'm not too familiar with the trails in the Northstate, but I was wondering if you would be featuring "hot spots" or places that aren't actually trails but are popular hill climbs. I know of a couple places that have some really hard hill climbs. The Rocky Beast, Sandover, Flat Mountain, Lockout, etc... Just a thought.

Maybe this could be my way of clearing up everything that happened over at the NKK homepage. :-"
