Just in case there are other TH people in AZ.

The SWPA and a few friends are going to do a night run behind Lake Pleasant. If any one is not doing anything tonight and is in the area this is a great time. We will be doing a little BBQ while out just to enjoy the fall weather. As with all of our outings all are welcome. Drop me a PM for details.

With the moon just short of full and already up it should be a great night for a run...keep us posted!

I had taken a new member (not yet a pinz owner) with me in my truck and was working with him on the operation of a Pinz. Very difficult as he drives a slightly modified Jeep liberty. Hard time convincing him to go over things rather than around. We did have a CJ join us for the trip, which slowed things down a lot. He is new to off roading so we also had to work with him. I like to work with the new members or people new to wheeling and forget to take picutres. We also had a BBQ while we were out, so I had to help with that also. I did not take any pictures but one of the other members did and I am waiting for him to send them to me or get them posted on our website. Sometimes being president gets in the way of having fun.

You are correct I went and others went. We even had a first time jeep guy go with us. We have nto had many pics turned in and none of any value. If you want to see what was turned in they are on our webpage www.swpinzgauer.org under trail rides/ night run

You are correct it did not stop him, but look at the quality he got and he was the Pres of US. I am not I want to know what I would get as the pres of SWPA.

The trail was behind Lake Pleasant. It was very easy with just a few minor obstacles, mostly wash out areas and deep powder dust and sand. This run was set up to have some of the wives come along who did not like the sun and heat. We also wanted to just get out on a trail with the new member and show him how to operate the truck. I will scare him later. I had the oportunity to scare a prospective member Wednesday afternoon. There is a play area near me and 4 of us went out. I took him up a couple of nice rock crawler obstacles.
