Cool little trail but you have to look for obstacles. The main trail is very easy.

Thanks, We have a lot of fun with it. You really don't get a good feel of the rock garden until you see the four modified Land Rovers go through. Great drivers but they sure beat up the rigs. One with a broken drive shaft the other with a broken output yoke to rear drive shaft. I forgot to put up my rear entry step and bent it when I backed through the rocks (nothing a little heat and hammer couldn't fix)

The Pinz trucks that are legal to bring in are all 5 speed manual with a two speed transfer case. The 4X4 (710's) are a little higher geared through the T-case than the 6X6 (712's). I can do 4 KPH full throttle in 1st gear low range. I really would like one gear lower but that is just not an option. The newer trucks 716 (4x4) and 718 (6x6) are diesel and have automatic tranny's and power steering. An EFI kit is being developed for the older trucks along with disc brake swap outs. I have seen a couple with power steering added but the power steering unit is a little irratic on the highway.

Just to show that I am not the only Pinz in the states. A group shot in front of the campground.

Nice turn out but the rains the days before kept some people from coming out to camp. They really missed a good time.

I can send you one and you can pass it around the group there. The DVD is a bunch of videos shot of the trucks on Old Chinamans Gulch.

One thing that does not show up in the photo is that there are only two 712's (6x6) trucks there. The yellow one (from Tennessee) and mine 3rd from right back row, wife and daughter standing up on front seats. The rest of the trucks are 710's (4x4). The one to the far left, front row is the only civilian model Pinz sold in the USA. It has some interesting differences like a 12V electrical system and vynil padded dash. Also has an inboard gas tank which makes the profile look odd.

I had to add those when I turned the two rows of seats to face forward. The rear passengers call them my OH SH1T!! bars. They are removable and I designed them to stow on some existing mounts along the inside of the bed. My son wants me to add a mount and power for his game boy to the bars. It is kind of funny to see him reading or playing his video games while we are doing some technical stuff.
