Its got a T130A T-case. and it is sometimes comming out of 4low under load, i think it has some play in the shafts but i got it $1000 cheaper because of it so i can fix it (or rebuild it) for that

I know exactly where I'm at...right here in front of my computer.
Born in Memphis, raised in Mississippi and I live in Australia.

BTW...They were the Hilux Surf before Toyota started sending them to the States and rebadging them "4Runners"
Surfs are a bit different than the garden variety 4Runner. Great diesel motors and LandCruiser running gear as opposed to the the little pickup running gear in the export models.

OK now I want one. The perfect blend of Toyota 4 runner capabilities and drive train driving a Land Cruiser running gear. BAD :censored: :headbanger:

The 4 runners here are some of the best performing and capable 4 bys that I've seen, I'm no expert but the 4 runner is my second choice on my "wishlist" :D

I'm sure there are many happy trails to be had in that thing  enjoy

That looks really cool. The front grill looks a lot like an 88 chevy blazer :-"

it'll probly be a lot better on the trail.. smaller in all dementions (wheelbase, width, leangth.. correct?) and i'd feel more comfortable putting a few scratches on that one compared to the other Patrol that looks practically new..

Give us some flex and off road pics soon!

I took her to a construction site yesterday to see what she was like in the mud etc. i didnt even air down and i got her through waist deep mud with a little help of my right foot. (there was a rather steep ledge that dropped off to that death that i didnt know about :"> ) she was great.

i was thinking 2" body lift, 2" ironman suspension lift and then Superior engineering drop shackles (about 5" of lift total) and then run 35" tires. then see how that goes and if it isnt enough do a SPOA (i dont realy want to because it will be a ##### to certify) and i need to put front and rear ARBs in. it has got an aftermarket LSD in the rear.

this thing is grunty off road!!!!! its sounds like a truck and goes like one too.

hopefully i will get the body lift on in the nest week or two and then the suspension in the next 2 months.
