Well today we tried to complete the trail that kicked my butt in the snow. And it appears nature decided to close this trail

So there was no way around this one. You can read more about our day at the lake and trail run HERE.

But overall it was a very scenic day. Took a nice dip in the lake and had a lot of fun. If i could get my Topo program to work I would post a new map. we did almost all of the immediate trails around the lake.

I hate when that happens especially when you plan your trip around a specific route. You think it will ever get fixed? Sometimes things like that are a permanent end to forest roads.

At that moment of no return, I bet thoughts about one's roll cage and hope that it will save your life. I wonder if you ever got trapped on the backside of something like that if you could pull cable to a sturdy tree up hell and past the washout if you could sort of slide the jeep accross without rolling.
I drive an 87' XJ.

well how about this. since i have a winch, make a bridge out of tree's. Find a few and somehow lay them accross the opening. Tie them together and or to the ground and drive across.
