Wow what a trip. Well instead of taking the HWY to the campsite , the group that we went with knew of a little short cut. basically we drove over all of the mountains that were in the way via an old pioneer trail eastablished in the 1850's. This was no easy trail and I think the total lenght was 30 miles. But it cut off like 40 miles. Anyways we started this trail at probably 7pm. and we didn;t get to the camp site until 11:30pm. Only had to break downs. First one was a blown tire about 1 mile into the trail. Second was a shorted battery in the last 1/4 mile of the trail. But I didn;t get any pictures because I didn;t have time to take any. I was to concentrated on the trail. Plus it was very dark in those woods even though it was still daylight above us.

Ok but you can view most fo the photo's I took while wheelin up there at Naches. Joe will probably add his. Hopefully soon I will have a video uploaded. But you can look at them HERE

Now I'm tired and hungry. Talk to you tomm.

I think in Nov. that place will be like 6 ft deep in snow. the elevation is 6000 feet according to my GPS. And i think the trails are closed then. might not be. but i dont know if i would want to be out there in 6 feet of snow and nothing around for like miles and miles.

But Tahuya is a close one. but Naches makes Tahuya look like my back yard.
