Well... set out this morning in search of Peavine Mountain Jeep Trail (in VA, not the one in NV). We found no such thing. We found a gravel road that stopped half way up Peavine Mountain, but no jeep trail. Anyway, spent a good portion of the AM exploring around looking for this road, and taking small go-nowhere side trails off the main road. We had a lot of fun in some of the puddles from last nights rain though (w00t) . Came back via FS 1881. More pics and details to come later after i upload all of it... but here is some shots i thought were pretty cool!

I agree with lowbuck, half the fun is not knowing where you're going (w00t)

Cool pics, I like the one where it looks like it's a long way down :-" :D
I hate hearing "Oh sh**, hang on!"

Do you really think its going to hydrolock the motor going through small puddles? We don't mess around w/ water crossing jon. I would treat an 18 inch creek a lot different from a 3 inch puddle.

From what I understand, the trail BEGINS where the ROAD ENDS! Oh well, you east coast folks are different... (w00t) , all kidding aside looks like fun! Don't you go and worry about the water. Of couple of TH's have rabies, you can see it in the way they react to H2O. :-"
