Just got a new CB and have only messed w/ it a little bit. The Buick looks somewhat like a copcar now, w/ the antenna on top :-" . And BTW, i got a laugh out of that forum thread a while ago on how many feet your antenna should be. That got pretty technical! (w00t)
I've got a lot to do as far as packing goes b4 tomorrow, so i'm out. I'll post more if i get access to a computer, or when i get home. Cya!

Your right. It rained... and rained... and rained some more.
Super Long Trip Report :P
Traviling conditions were all at the extreme for this trip. When we left, traffic was absolutly terrible. The first night we spent in Wilks Barr, PA.
The second day, around 11:00, the air conditioning in the buick bit the dust, and we had to spend preciouse travel time waiting to get it recharged, and filled w/ a die to find the leak in the system ($190 (w00t)).
Third day we had the boreing strait roads of maine. They are god awful w/ absoultly no traffic, and like 20 miles between exits. It was SOOOOOOOO borening. Got through Canadian customs around 1:00, and drove through New Brunswick, and spent the night in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Next day, up early and drove into Cape Breton (northern part of NS) and set up camp in a small campground just inside of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, near Cheticamp, right on top of a cliff overlooking the water. That night we were plegged w/ the cold, the rain, and the wind comming off the water. Luckily, I had my new sleeping bag liner, so i was warm :P
Next AM, went hiking on the skyline trail. started out boreing, but turned into a rock strewn trail, that went through a lot of different wildlife. At one point i heard a noise, stopped and spotted a baby moose head looking at me from out of the bushes. The the mother moose loomed out from behind a tree. My gosh, that thing was huge! we watched it for a few minutes, before continuing down the trail. We came opon a "bordwalk" that went out over the side of part of the mountain we were on. Acording to a sign nearby the winds were "hurricane force" and in excess of 90MPH. We couldn't go out on the bordwalk verry far because we were actually being blown off of it! :'( But it was fun to expierience the high wind none the less. Saw one more moose, then finished the 6 mile hike. The remainder of that day, we drove around the Cabot Trail (the road that loops around Cape Breton, verry curvy steep, and beautiful) and visited several small fishing villages, and took a few short hikes. That night we found a beautiful campground (a little further from the ocean, and cover by trees
Next AM visited points south of campground, did whale watching boat tour in Ingonish, ate lobster dinner (well, my dad did, I can't stand sea food
Next day, drove down to Halifax, NS (location of tall ships, biggest city in NS) and stayed in St. Marie's University ($40 Canadian for two rooms! (w00t)) That night, we waited to late to go eat, because the law in canada says that after 9:00PM, no1 under 19 is alowed in places that serve alcohol  (even if you don't drink) and nowhere else was really open after 9. Ended up eating in some fancy place which was all we could find, but i didn't like it
Walked around Halifax next AM, and then drove down to Yarmouth, NS, and took High Speed Ferry (49MPH, had GPS w/ me
Next day we were up, drove by Bath Ironworks/shipyard, and saw constuction of two new Arleigh Burke class destroyers. Went and took a look at the L.L. Bean outlet (really cool place) And then got on the road about 4PM. Decided at that point that we needed to get home fast to see a good friend of mine, who was left for Canada yesterday to stay the whole summer, so we drove all night and got home about 11AM on Saturday AM (which was actually a good plan, because going by NYC at 1:30 AM meant no traffic!)
Oh, and bugs were not a problem because of the rain
Anywho, if you read all of that you probably have way to much free time, but to sum it up, the Northern part of Nova Scotia is the most beautiful place on earth in my mind, and i would highly recoment it as a place to visit sometime in your lifetime (although its a long haul for u californians).
Ok, thats it... i'm done
